In my work I interweave mythology, folk art motifs and images taken from Youtube to articulate an experience that is highly personal yet also ubiquitous.
These works are part of an intricate, interconnected web, in which I progress my characters' stories, approaching them as entities with internal logic and agency and my role is to interpret and render their transformations.
Characters reimagine and retell their stories, liberating themselves from confines and conquering fears. Body parts and faces form a landscape on which they play these scenes out.
